We booked this stunning place for a special family gathering, looking for somewhere special.......and they don't come much more special than here!
The house is enormous and contains everything to ensure total comfort and enjoyment.
We were group of 12, aged from 3 years old to 87, (plus our Pug!) and everyone thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
The hot tub and pool are excellent, and the pool table in the conservatory provided loads of fun - and some fierce competition! - for many of us
The house is fully equipped for people who have physical disabilities, with accessible bathrooms, kitchen and outside areas, together with a lift to the first floor bedrooms.
The grounds are enormous with many seating areas and grass; the fishing lake is well stocked for pleasure anglers too..... impossible not to catch! There is also a day ticket water nearby for those who want more of a challenge.
Whilst the house is set well apart from other properties, it's easily within travelling distance to nearby towns such as Aberystwyth, Cardigan etc.
The property is all you could wish for in itself - but Ray and Dawn who own it are outstanding hosts.......very welcoming, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They really add a special something to what is a memorable place to stay in its own right and definitely added to our family's enjoyment of the week - thank you very much indeed!
We have stayed in holiday lets the length and breadth of Europe and across SE Asia, some excellent ones and a handful that didn't impress - but this one certainly sets the standard for the rest.......

Beautifully situated in undulating Welsh countryside, comfortably close to beautiful coastline (quiet beaches or coastal towns) and with easy access to grocery shopping and excellent restaurants. The property itself was amazing - a former family home, equipped with every imaginable item to ensure that our holiday was comfortable, well resourced and relaxing. Spotlessly clean, and with both indoor and outdoor leisure facilities for a range of ages and levels of energy! Trampoline and tree house, spacious grounds to walk/run around in; hot tub and swimppool; snooker, TVs, table football - there really wasn't enough time to do everything on offer! House and grounds accessible for those with restricted mobility (ramps, lift in the house, specialised bathroom facilities. The owners couldn't have done more to ensure our holiday was faultless and memorable, and were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Genuinely dog-friendly. Can't wait to go back!!
