In the southern suburbs of Nashville, this charming home dates back to the 1940s and retains the feel of an early 20th-century mansion. You’re a twelve-minute drive from the sights and sounds of Broadway and can return to a quiet spot after a night in honky tonk music venues.

Back at the home, we love the gated backyard. Out here, you’ll find a fire pit for chilly evenings, hanging chairs beneath the wooden pergola and a sunken cowboy tub with hammocks for drying off. The piece de resistance is the Airstream caravan, silver as a bullet and set up like a secret den with a record player and vintage chairs inside.

Inside the home, the dark wood bones of the old house are on display. We particularly love the twisting spiral staircase and wood-beam ceiling in the living area. A drinks trolley and bar area offer an old-fashioned evening tipple and a golden chandelier adds some kitsch charm. The full kitchen is a vision of modernity amidst the otherwise vintage motif.
