In a little-trafficked (by Manhattan standards) corner of the Upper East Side, Heirloom provides you with a haven to retreat, away from the bustle normally associated with the city. That calm feeling has clearly influenced the interior design as well, with certain nods to Scandinavia, and nice variety of houseplants. The kitchen’s a draw too, with a good set of appliances (although no food is provided). It’s set over two floors, with a terrace split over two levels as well, so even if you decide to use the futon, it feels like it’s big enough.
Home truths: *The apartment's on the fifth floor, and there's no lift *There are also stairs inside, which are quite steep *Two people can sleep on a futon in the living room *Unfortunately, the host doesn't provide anything in the way of ingredients, not even tea and coffee*This host requires your check-in to be within 7 days from the last booking.
