Filled with light thanks to the living area’s large windows, you can soak up that Louisianna sunshine from the comfort of the sofa – a cold drink in hand – or while gathered around the dining table over a homemade Southern feast.

Better yet, head up the building’s communal rooftop terrace for a sundowner while admiring wide-sweeping skyline views or while away an evening in the shared games room where foosball, pool and air hockey tables await. Active types will appreciate the on-site fitness centre here too, though, with countless cultural hotspots on your doorstep, we suggest a walk around town to liven up any day.

Ride down Canal Street (a three-minute walk away) in one of the city’s scenic streetcars or make a beeline for buzzing Bourbon Street packed with restaurants and bars, a seven-minute stroll away.
