Whether you're looking for scenic hikes, snorkelling adventures, or laid-back beach days, this home puts the Kohala Coast on your doorstep. An easy drive away is Hapuna Beach, one of the best on the island. Need a break from the sand? Head to the resort's communal pools, fitness centre, or hot tub instead. Location aside, what we love most about this home is how welcoming it feels. The terrace is made for barbecues and sundowners, while inside, there's a bunk room for kids and a main suite where parents can enjoy a little downtime. Your host has thought of everything, too – from beach gear and baby equipment to bicycles for exploring the area.

Home truths:
*The third bedroom has a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a single on top. There's also a single trundle bed. We think this room is more comfortable for children.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a pack-n-play travel cot, high chair, baby monitor, and other equipment upon request.
*You'll have access to the resort's swimming pools, fitness centre, and hot tub here. These are shared with other guests. Entry to a nearby beach club is also provided.
*Your host provides equipment for days at the beach, including boogie boards, snorkel gear, umbrellas, wheeled coolers, beach chairs, and life jackets.
*We suggest hiring a car while on the Big Island, as it's the easiest way to explore. Parking is available here. Your host also provides bikes for getting around the local area.
