Some homes are so extraordinary that they draw 'oohs' and 'aahs' from guests in every new room they enter — this stunning European-style villa in Fort Lauderdale is very much one of those. Inside, the twenty-four-foot high ceilings in the living space invite palatial comparisons and this continues when you step outside to the palm-covered heated pool area, which is reminiscent of a Roman emperor's abode. It's very easy to imagine careless afternoons drifting between the inbuilt hot tub and the loungers on the covered terrace close to the barbecue. If you ever want to up the ante at any point, there's a well-equipped gym with a cable machine, free weights, and core strength equipment, as well as a whole host of sports to play in nearby Holiday Park too, which can be reached in twelve minutes' walk. However, if you feel more at home just lazing about, the golden sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach are a ten-minute car journey away.
