Joshua Tree National Park is a seventeen-minute drive, and local hiking trails are just five minutes away, so there's plenty to pull you out each day before you inevitably end up back by the water as the sun drops.

* You'll need a car to make the most of this location. Downtown Joshua Tree is a twelve-minute drive, Pioneertown is fifteen minutes away, and Palm Springs is around forty minutes – so plan to have wheels for the duration of your stay.
* Parking is in the garage or driveway – there is no on-street parking available, so make sure all vehicles are fully off the road.
* If you're travelling with a baby or toddler, your host can provide a high chair.
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
