This cheerful home promises a secluded stay, surrounded by so much lush nature that you’ll hardly be able to believe you’re just ten minutes' walk from downtown San Juan Capistrano. The bright living room decor sets the tone for your holiday from the moment you walk through the front door – thoughtfully designed spaces, with a focus on beachy colours and natural materials that echo the home’s eco-credentials. The main house has three bedrooms, including a playful kids' room with bunk beds and a master bedroom that opens out into the garden. There's also a tiny house in the gardens perfect for lovestruck couples to enjoy some time alone. Though the interiors are lovely, it’s the garden that captures the heart. A solar-heated pool sits on the green lawn – perfect for a cooling dip after a vigorous game of basketball, volleyball, or tennis, or perhaps just for lounging around on the beach chairs in the California heat. The garden is lined with flourishing fruit trees and a vegetable patch, and you’re welcome to help yourself to nature's bounty. Pluck a tangerine for a mid-morning snack or whip up a batch of avocado toast for brunch in the sunroom before heading out to explore San Juan Capistrano.
