There’s more than a hint of a 70s feel to Newton’s Cradle. If that does it for you, you’ll be in heaven, but it’d be inaccurate to describe the aesthetic as particularly contemporary. It’s a solid home though, that covers all the basics for a good stay. We really liked the back garden, too. It’s not Versailles, but simply having the shaded area is a lovely addition, particularly as it’s furnished.
Home truths: *You might not get an in-person check-in
*There's a flight of stairs to climb to reach the front door
*The bathroom feels a bit old-fashioned
*Technically the place can hold six people, but that includes two sleeping on an air mattress that can be set up in the living room
*The street outside is fairly busy
