Dianthus Zermatt, Valais

We were pleased with our spacious apartment. A very nice terrace, with a view of the Matterhorn. Nice to be able to eat outside. Too bad there is no dining table in the room. In bad weather you have to eat in the kitchen. The kitchen is fine. Nice oven and electric stove. In the room there were two more fold-out beds in a closet. We did not know that. The shower is wonderful, in the bath. Great beds. Unfortunately no couch in the room, but fine (dated) chairs. 10 minutes to bus transport.

We were traveling with our 2 year old child and the apartment was great. Enough space to run around, comfortable armchairs, everything in retro style and a great view of the Matterhorn. Only the photos do not show the first staircase to the house, which has no ramp. But there is a wheelchair lift on both stairs (needs a lot of patience). We just carried the stroller up, went faster.

Large apartment, large living room, large bedroom and above all a beautiful sunny terrace with a view of the Matterhorn. Separate kitchen. Too bad there is no dining table in the living room. The fridge should be changed.

The apartment was or is good. However, the bathtub needs to be new. The view of the Matterhorn is fantastic.

Disastrous hygienic conditions with multiple insect infestations in several places in the apartment including live and crawling 2.5 cm long insects in the bed. The access to the apartment with more than 52 steps is with luggage in a matter for well-trained top athletes. Stay away from the apartment!

The accommodation is good and cheap. Access to the property is via several flights of stairs. Ideal for fitness training.

Everything you need for a vacation

Cheap accommodation, very spacious, 70's style with well-functioning installations such as shower (enough pressure) and kitchen. Everything available. Certainly not accommodation for a romantic "couple's weekend" but perfect for two boys who mainly go boarding and partying!

This apartment has plenty of space and has all the amenities required for a multi-week stay in Zermatt. The decor is dated and there are a lot of steps up to the building but if you are reasonably fit and don’t care about the latest in interior design then this is a good choice.

Being in Zermatt and its surroundings is always a pleasure. In this apartment we were fine. It is a large space for two people. Quiet and with a generous sink and kitchen. All with views of the Matterhorn. We only consider that it would be convenient to carry out reforms because the furniture, lighting and decoration in general are outdated. Kitchen mixer and hair dryer did not work. The apartment is far from the center and you have to walk a while to access it.

The location is bad, too many steps. Apartment is fine, was clean except for the dishes. Everyone has to clean it themselves and even I notice that, sometimes disgustingly. Equipment in the kitchen is also unsatisfactory for self-cookers, goes to make spaghetti, more will be difficult. There were two of us, that was ok, with 4 people I wouldn't recommend it.

We were in this apartment for the second time. It's really OK for the price paid. Everything works perfectly, you have a lot of space and even a view of the Matterhorn. Keep everything a bit 70's style ;-) Like last year, the only thing that bothered us was the musty smell. With good ventilation, however, no problem...

This apartment is an absolute bargain for Zermatt! I've been skiing in Zermatt for a week every winter so far and I've never stayed overnight so cheaply. Everything is there and everything works. Everything a bit older (80 years standard) What bothered us a bit is the rather "musty" smell (but well tolerated with good ventilation) and the dishes which were not washed clean.
