Very nice, big, clean apartment. Has everything you need, top notch. It would be great if you could also use the train, which stops right next to the house, with the ski pass from Grächen, unfortunately that is not possible. Greetings Thomas Hanselmann

Spent the 3rd sports holiday in this apartment in Kalpetran. Kitchen has been renewed for 3 years with dishwasher. We appreciate the quiet location and the nearby train station, where there are trains to Zermatt and Visp twice an hour. (Visp 20 min, Zermatt 45 min) Friendly landlady and owner who speaks the wonderful Valais dialect. Was well heated.

We chose the apartment because of its transport links. So you have the opportunity to walk directly from the apartment to the platform and thus easily reach every place in Valais. The equipment is completely sufficient. We were able to leave the car at home and were on the road quickly and without hectic.

Ideal location for holidays by public transport. The accommodation is right next to the train station, but the squeaking of the trains doesn't bother you at all. We enjoyed two great weeks in Kalpetran. There is not much on site, but it is ideal for people who are hungry for adventure. Trains and the cable car run in both directions every half hour. The landlady was very nice and attentive.

Despite the fact that the apartment is located directly against the railway, you hardly notice it. The apartment is spacious enough and has a nice and practical kitchen. The sanitary facilities are also fine. Ski area Saas Fee is only a 30 minute drive away. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Was a very nice stay, also for our dog!

Unfortunately, our stay in Kalpetran in Chalet Christl was overshadowed by heavy construction noise! The apartment itself was actually quite nice. But exactly five meters across from the terrace is a major BLS construction site! The entire Kalpetran train station will be completely renovated by 2021. That's why we had, unfortunately even at the weekend from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., construction noise from demolition work with jackhammers, vibrators and loud signal horns, even at night! Very quiet accommodation except the passage of trains which causes vibrations but you get used to it quickly. The end of the journey is on narrow roads and the shops are not nearby so you have to plan for provisions. Wonderful view from the Terrace and nearby hiking trails. Very well equipped kitchen (except it lacks a microwave) and good TV and fast internet connection.
