Exit to the balcony. 1 double bedroom. 1 room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, electric coffee machine). Bath/WC. Balcony, south facing position. Balcony furniture. Beautiful view of the mountains, the countryside and the resort. Facilities: children's high chair, baby cot. Internet (WiFi, free). Parking at the house. Please note: non-smokers only.

Cosy apartment house "Castello", 1'600 m a.s.l., 5 storeys, built in 1980. In the resort, 500 m from the centre, in a quiet, sunny position on a slope, 500 m from the skiing area. In the house: lift, storage room for skis, central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use, extra), drying room. Motor access to the house (mountain road). Stepped path to the house. Parking at the house. Grocery 500 m, supermarket, restaurant, bus stop 200 m. Gondola lift, skisport facilities, slopes, ski school, sled run, children's playground 500 m. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Zermatt 25 km, Saas Fee 35 km.

Location Description Grächen

1'620 - 2'860 m a.s.l. >>Well-known, family-friendly, car-free holiday resort with 1'300 inhabitants, on a plateau, in an idyllic position with beautiful view, 24 km south from Visp. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Indoor aquatic centre at 8 km. Access: road Visp - St.Niklaus - Grächen. Access via a mountain road. Access by train Visp - Zermatt. Railway station "St.Niklaus" 8 km. Sports centre with tennis, volleyball, basketball, badminton, climbing wall and table tennis.

Summer

Tennis. Minigolf. Fitness course. 250 km hiking paths, mountain hikes, mountain tours, climbing. Bicycle paths, mountain bike routes. Children's playground. "Kneipp" garden on lake Graechner. "Robis" children's playground with roundabout, swings, Indian village, tree houses, giant slide etc. Ravensburger play path.

Winter

Ski-region Grächen. 2 cable cabins, 3 chair lifts, 8 drag lifts. 13 ski runs, total length 42 km (16 % easy, 78 % intermediate, 6 % difficult), halfpipe. Ski school, children's ski school. 6 km cross country ski tracks in the region, winter walking paths 25 km. 1 toboggan run (long 3 km). Natural ice rink, curling, indoor tennis centre. Further ski-regions: Zermatt at 25 km, Saas Fee at 30 km.

Das Castello hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung ist charmant und gut ausgestattet eingerichtet. In wenigen Minuten ist man bei der Talstation sowie im Dorfkern. Wir waren froh um den Lift im Haus, da unsere Wohnung im 4. Stock war. Ausserdem hat man eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Berge. Organisatorisch hat alles tip top geklappt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Schöne Wohnung, alles vorhanden, wenn man mit offenem Fenster schläft, ist der Strassenverkehr gut hörbar, Bett und Matratze sind sehr weich.

Leider war keine weitere clopapier Rolle als Ersatz vorhanden. Nur Due eine auf dem Abroller. Sowas geht gar nicht. Ansonsten war Wohnung ok.

Une chaise ou des crochets dans les chambres Ă  coucher seraient apprĂ©ciĂ©s - pour y dĂ©poser ou y accrocher les vĂªtements . Sinon, tout est nickel ! Non ! il manquait aussi un parasol sur le balcon.
