Chalet Soldanella (BEL205)

Holiday home well equipped for normal needs. Not very big, but everything is there for a comfortable holiday. Piston and capsule (Delizio) coffee machines. Access to the house via the former piste is not suitable for everyone as it is quite steep. 2 spacious double bedrooms and a smaller room with separate single beds. Basically enough for 6 adults. Wet rooms with toilets on both floors are great. Heating does not work optimally, could get cold in cold weather.

It is always nice to come back here. It is a steep climb to the house. But once you are there, it is worth it.

Ideal place to completely unwind. Good base for many activities with children: visit picturesque Ernen, swimming in Brigerbad, with BMX on pump track, with lift up and then with trottinette (kind of go-cart) down, walks to Eggishorn with beautiful view of glacier, ... House only accessible on foot via challenging piece along mountain bike route and as a reward quiet house on the very edge of the village. Internet in tourism office / WIFI in café sports place.

The access is very steep, not suitable for older people and families with small children! The wet cells have been renewed, look good, but unfortunately have no storage space. Taking a shower in the bathroom is almost impossible without a flood. The kitchen equipment is old and poor. One has the impression that the upkeep is neglected and no one really looks at the house. It is also very worrying that the mattress protectors are not changed during cleaning.

The chalet fully met expectations! Chalet is located in nature and has all the necessary comfort, the fireplace is a nice added value! Attention, there is no WIFI!

Had a lovely week. The chalet was warm and cosy, very well equipped and with comfortable beds. In October the village is very quiet and it was ideal for bird watching and we even saw deer very close to the chalet. The very steep climb up to the chalet from the car park on a rough track makes it unsuitable for the elderly and difficult for people with small children. Only one parking space is available and the other car had to be parked at the free parking down in the village(15min walk)
