Suite Classic Apartment 14

This apartment does not deserve 4 stars. 4 stars for the situation, the view and the service available from 8:00 to 10:00 in the building is OK. On the other hand, the very worn furniture does not justify the 4 stars. The photos must be updated, the table and chairs do not correspond to reality. The railing on the terrace (as already mentioned in another comment) is low and dangerous for children. The only access to the residence from the pedestrian zone is narrow (2.3m max).

Unfortunately the apartment does not have air conditioning. With the windows closed, the apartment would be very well soundproofed. However, when the temperatures are high, it is not possible to sleep with the windows closed. What is incomprehensible is that the police patrol the pedestrian zone every half hour during the day. But where are the police with the night noise (loud bawling and shouting until the morning hours, for example until 3:30 a.m.)? Tourist tax for what? - no free bus rides as with hotel bookings.

Everything OK. For a very good we lacked: - Dishwasher - Terrace railings too low. Very dangerous from our point of view and not only for children. - Directions have potential for improvement: Handling the bollards was unclear (which button to press)

The apartment was clean and the location was very nice. Unfortunately the furniture (sofa, armchair, bed) was worn out, dingy and uncomfortable which is a shame. Because the apartment itself is very nice.

We spent three nights in Apt 7, which boasts a simply spectacular view over Ascona and a panorama of Lago Maggiore, from a covered balcony. This view is the main reason to rent this apartment. The apartment was clean and functional, but in very basic for the tariff. There is no microwave, dishwasher, toaster or hairdryer, furnishings are dated, bed is basic but mattress firm enough. Bathroom is new-ish and shower pressure good. Would recommend only with the reservations listed above.

As every year, just great at the Miralago! This apartment has a large balcony with a great view of Lake Maggiore. The interior is rather poor, but the view makes up for it. The on-site staff is very friendly and helpful.
