Brissago Blue Apartment 3

Small, nice holiday apartment, which is however a bit dated (especially the furniture / the armchairs on the balcony should be replaced in my opinion).

Small apartment with everything you need. Wonderful view of the lake. However, there were two issues: - The parking space is incorrectly described. The outdoor parking space may only be used briefly for unloading. After that, parking space number 1/2 in the garage must be used. - The apartment is unusable without air conditioning. In the evenings, it was regularly over 30 degrees Celsius in the bedroom, and in the morning over 28 degrees Celsius. This is life-threatening and unacceptable. Even a fan is of no use.

Despite a fantastic view of Lake Maggiore, our stay was very disappointing. The accommodation was far too stuffy (no air conditioning), and the sleeping area upstairs in the building was extremely hot and impossible to cool. Sleeping in this environment was therefore very difficult. There were concerns about the quality (very old and felt unsturdy) of the metal balcony railing, with the concern that the dog could crawl through it.

The holiday apartment is attractively and comfortably furnished, with plenty of natural wood in the decor and furnishings. The view from the terrace of the lake, the small harbor, the Ascona peninsula and Locarno in the distance, and the surrounding mountains is simply magnificent.

The apartment is conveniently located, with parking for the rental car. The view was wonderful, the amenities were plentiful, and everything worked.
