Tre G OG Locarno, Ticino

This is a hidden gem in Locarno. The apartment is large, stocked well, has a great balcony, parking, is close to everything, and the best part is the host. She is truly caring about your stay and comfort. She gave us a yummy gift of homemade jam and went out of her way to help us with our laundry. She only speaks Italian and we did our best with "Google Translate" to communicate. Yet this is a place were you really feel like part of the family : )

Some of the furniture is older, but everything is there. The apartment was very clean, the landlady very friendly. However, she only speaks Italian.

Located close to the train and bus station, this is an ideal starting point for Locarno, the Maggia and Onsernone valleys and the Centovalli.

The landlady welcomed us very nicely and explained everything well. The accommodation was clean and well furnished. There was nothing missing. The facility is a bit old, but we would still like to rent the apartment again at any time. It is in a quiet location and there is a parking lot right by the house.

The apartment is a little out of the way, in a quiet location, is clean, rustic and comfortably furnished, clean and well-kept, parking space and balcony for breakfast. All in all very relaxing.

We were welcomed very friendly. Even on reception we received 1 jar of jam and it also had salt/spices/coffee capsules ready. Despite the language barrier, we understood everything, there are many documents/maps for things to do. When we left, we received gifts. Great stay in beautiful Ticino!

Very nice getaway in Ticino starting with the well located apartment, Giulia the owner who is very friendly and very kind, thought of everything, nothing is missing, it was perfect. I can only recommend it.

The apartment is very well located in Locarno, close to public transport. We were able to leave the car in the designated parking space and avoid having to fight to find a place in Locarno. The Maggia flows 100m from the house and it was very nice to be able to swim there in the evening to cool off. Giulia, the owner, is super welcoming and adorable with children. Despite the language barrier, this was not a problem. The apartment is very convenient.

Clean and well equipped apartment 5 minutes walk from the bus and Centovallina Station. A few minutes walk takes you to the river where you can take beautiful walks. The owner and her husband are very kind and helpful people

Landlord: Very friendly and helpful elderly couple. Apartment is functional, big enough for a week's vacation & the balcony is just right for eating outside. The children's room is enough to sleep in but unfortunately without storage space for clothes. Use the living/dining room to play (for the children). The beds are comfortable and the area is very quiet and close to the bus station. The furniture is a bit old. The apartment could have been a little cleaner upon arrival.

So the apartment is fine. There is everything we need. A nice bathroom, kitchen and dining room, the beds are comfortable (there are two bedrooms) and a TV available in the living room (which we didn't need to use). The parking space just in front is perfect. There is a large playground for children 50m away, secure because it is closed with a barrier. And the lady who greeted us is very nice. We arrived at 10 p.m. because we were blocked for 7 a.m. stuck in front of the Gotthard tunnel. And she was very kind to wait for us. No complaints. Just having a great vacation. I recommend this apartment.

The owners are very friendly and helpful even though they only speak Italian. Parking space at the level of the house. Quiet area and close to the center. The electrical outlets are not the same as in France but the owner provided us with an adapter Address to remember

The spacious 3-room apartment is in a quiet location and easily accessible by public transport. It is an ideal starting point for hikes and climbing.

The apartment is well equipped and very quiet. All means of transport are very easy to reach and the landlords are very friendly and helpful.

From the telephone contact everything was perfect, from the handing over of the keys to the departure greetings, passing through the places, the lake, the valleys the various mountain villages, in particular Bosco Gurin and all the rest, without forgetting the famous polenta of Ticino and its "spezzetini ai porcini" to see again without hesitation...............

The apartment is simply furnished - you will find everything you need. The atmosphere gives you the feeling of being on holiday with your grandparents. The location was ideal for us as a small family: bus stop, playground, shopping nearby. The landlords, an elderly couple, were extremely warm and friendly.
