Spacious and bright, comfortable and modern furnishings: open large living/dining room 40 m2 with dining table and cable TV (flat screen), radio, CD-player and electric shutters. Exit to the patio. 1 large double bedroom 20 m2 with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm), bath/shower/WC.

It was another fantastic week of vacation in the Bernese Alps. I'd always dreamed of having a place right next to my favorite Swiss railway, the SPB (Schynige Plate Bahn). And I did it! The station was just a few steps away. The weekly "all-inclusive" ticket meant I didn't have to use the car at all. There was—obviously—a visit to Jungfrau Joch, a few visits to Kleine Scheidegg, Wengen, Grindelwald, Lautenbrunen, Murren, and Interlaken. Would I ever come back? I would.

Beautiful, spacious, 2 bedroom house that is 1 minute walking distance to train station & local grocery store. Beds are extremely comfortable, however newer pillows would be good as they were quite thin. Owners live next door and are quiet and friendly. They have 2 beautiful big white friendly dogs that only bark a little when they get excited to go for a walk. The decor is simple and furniture is comfortable. There is a beautiful view of the mointian from the patio door.

A comfortable and very well appointed apartment that makes an excellent centre for touring the Bernese Oberland. A couple of minutes walk to the train station and bus stop, and even closer to a supermarket. The apartment has access to a shared garden which makes it ideal for families.

A spacious and centrally located home. Fully equipped with a nice terrace. Close to roads and mountain trains. It is a pity that the bathroom is not located separately from the master bedroom. This means less privacy. It is a pity that the owner shows little interest in her guests and their well-being. But definitely recommended for nice holiday.

The apartment is very close to the train station and bus stop so ideal for travelling around the area. There were a number of downsides such as the lack of any plugs so you could fill any sink with water meaning I had to shave with running water which is not environmentally friendly. As I also have an allergy to dog hair and the owner has two large dogs running around outside it meant the garden was not available even during high temperatures. This was certainly not ideal.

The house is fine. Spacious, has everything you need. Just a little disappointed with the reception which was very distant and the same departure. We felt like we were being avoided. For the departure we waited more than an hour but the owner didn't come, so we had to leave without saying goodbye. Shame! everything went very well other than that. It may be the language barrier, but I speak English, French and a bit of German though!

In the accommodation there was a strong smell of wet dog. Urine stains on the mattresses. Blind broken you sat in the dark. No one there to accept the key on the day of departure. Dog hair everywhere. High humidity. Scruffy seating set. and much more We have written a letter with photos, unfortunately there is not enough space to list all the defects....

There were four of us in this apartment with a dog. Other family members had a hotel room nearby and therefore also visited us in the apartment. We always had plenty of space. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired and we were able to do everything we wanted. Everything was clean and in very good condition. Super nice and reserved landlady! Especially great for us was the direct access to the garden and the location. Clear recommendation.

We would not recommend the accommodation. The apartment is big and in a great location. But it is dark, cold, damp and in need of a "spring cleaning". Old cobwebs in the corners, dirt in the kitchen cupboards, etc. A better light installation could certainly get a lot out of it. Unfortunately, the description of the apartment does not say that you have to share the garden with two dogs. We have not received directions.

After 7 years again in Bernese Oberland. This time in apartment Due to our dog. Simple but spacious apartment with everything needed and large enclosed garden. Perfect location next to station and supermarkets. Ideal for trips into the mountains and cities such as Bern and Lucerne. Friendly owner who lives in the other half of the house.

We used the Von Allmen apartment for 6 days. Neat, everything you need is there. We had a nice holiday. Supermarket at 50 meters. Train within 100 meters. Good access to Interlaken and surroundings. We were here because of the JungFrau Marathon.

This lovely property had everything we needed and a view of the mountains. It kept beautifully cool throughout the hot weather, so we got a good night's sleep. The position is ideal because it is just a few steps to the small supermarket and just opposite the station. so you can be out of the door and onto the train for your excursions to the mountains in a couple of minutes. Thank you so much to xxx for enabling us to have a great holiday. She was unintrusive yet available should we have needed anything.
