Tschingelhorn Apt. R Wengen, Bern

This spacious apartment is simply furnished. The beds are excellent and the bathroom and toilet were renovated earlier this year. As indicated, the location is on the slopes, the skiers come five meters past your balcony and in the evening the piste bully comes to light things up. It is quite a climb from the village, up about fifteen minutes. The train connection to Lauterbrunnen is excellent, the train stops approximately at the Parkhaus

Beautiful, quiet, clean, well-appointed apartment with a magnificent view of the mountains.

Beautiful apartment with a sunny balcony right on the slopes. Bathrooms, kitchen and interiors deserve a refresh and a lot (a lot) of water has to be wasted to get hot water running.

Bathroom with massive mold in several places, shower curtain also full of mold. The kitchen is old and sticky in places from old grease and dust. Hot water only comes after 7-10 minutes. Location right on the valley run Bed very comfortable

The flaws: no microwave (however, it is very important to avoid having to cook every time); no dishwasher (it has become very rare). The rest is positive (location, orientation, layout, space...).

The view and the terrace are the great assets of this apartment. The apartment is somewhat outdated, the kitchen and bathroom need an update, the equipment is rather basic. Fortunately, we had nice weather and were able to enjoy the large terrace outside until late at night.

The view from the apartment is excellent as advertised. A word of caution is that the walk to the apartment, especially with luggage, is long and uphill as advertised. Taking the advice from the Interhome agent to use taxi from train station may be wise and money well spent for the initial trip up. Coming down and walking without luggage should not be an issue.

The apartment is smaller than it appears in the photos. The main room, however, is cozy with windows on two sides and views of the ski slope and mountains. No dishwasher, but XXX TV :)

The view is fantastic . . Beds are confortable for 3 persons . The kitchen is too small,old ,no micro wave...Not easy to cook.
