We felt comfortable, but would like to point out a few small defects: GS - lower insert broken; shower on the upper floor - shower walls not fully closed -> water-based paint; ski boot dryer initially cold - fixed by the manager; some lightbulbs broken -> fixed by the manager; mattress in the basement, left room saggy; but otherwise OK, manager tried very hard.

Three generations visiting Switzerland and this Chalet was just perfect! Amazing unspoilt views down the valley and to several waterfalls. Lauterbrunnen is a busy hub but this Chalet about 100m up from Main Street and was peaceful. Sleeping accommodation and bathrooms on all three levels worked really well for us, as did the large open plan living space. Really well equipped although could do with a couple more serving dishes. More clarity on refuse arrangements would have been helpful too!

Big chalet, 5-7 minutes walk to the train station taking you up to Wengen. Very well equipped, fireplace, barbecue on the terrace. Well heated. We spent a very good week. It is rather expensive, ideally for 2-3 families to share.

The house is very nice and sweet. It really represents a warm home after straining skiing. It is well equipped with the exception of lights - in some rooms this is missing or the lightening is poor.

This chalet is comfortable, clean and well equipped with all the necessary comforts. It perfectly met our expectations and allowed our three families to live together, each having our own privacy thanks to the three shower rooms/wc and bedrooms distributed over three different floors. Located close to shops, restaurants and the train station, it allows you to enjoy this beautiful region on foot or by bike. Parking is a bit tricky (sloping road and little maneuvering space).

The house is old. Everything creaks and squeaks. There is a lot of damage in the house. House is also very dirty. Handrails, door handles and handles are sticky. Floors are very sticky and dirty. This house has disappointed us and the ratio price / quality is completely missing.

Very pleasant chalet for two families. It is well equipped, clean and functional. The beds are big enough and good. The kitchen is supplied with basic necessities. The bathrooms are renovated, the furniture is modern. It is very well located, quiet and close to all the activities in the region. You can walk to Lauterbrunen station which is a departure station for all destinations.

Everything flawless. Great for larger families or groups. Very quiet location and only a few minutes walk from the train station. The only drawback: shower heads would have to be replaced. And Raclette Offen too. One side was no longer heating properly and the scrapers were missing. Surroundings were littered with cigarette butts from the previous tenant. It was probably only visible when the snow melted.

The house is located in the center of Lauterbrunnen with a wonderful view of the Staubbach Falls. Despite this, it is very quiet. The living room and kitchen are designed for a large group and have plenty of space.

Overall good accommodation in a sensational location. Improvements are necessary, especially in the care of the garden. Instead of a gas grill, I would recommend a charcoal grill, there is enough space in the garden for it.

All very well. Only the humidity and low temperature on the ground floor have to be improved, because according to what they told us, the heating starts up when the temperature drops below 21 degrees. This means that although the middle floor and the first floor are fine, on the ground floor there is humidity and unpleasant temperatures.

The house was absolutely brilliant. Fantastic, unique location. Well equipped. The only flaw...we were 9 adults, 4 nights and only got 2 rolls of toilet paper and 2 garbage bags. I found that a bit cheap, especially since garbage bags are only available in full rolls and cannot be used elsewhere.

This aeria is unscripable for all the beautiful nature, you just have to look out your bedroom windows. The House is big and well equiped, we had averything we need. Restaurants is in 2 minutes walk same as the bus stop and the train station just 7 minutes walk. The man who has the key and is looking after the hous is very frendly and helpful. We traveled two families to Lauterbrunen. The chalet is very spacious with a superb location to go around the Bernes Oberland Region. The only thing the chalet needs is a big refurbishment as most of the furniture is exhausted. The kitchen and the living room are very big and spacious, but we highly recommend to the owners a full referbishment of the property as it will become awesome.

Just for the views from the house, it's worth it. The waterfall that you see is spectacular. The house is much better than what you see in the photos. Very spacious, well equipped, comfortable and very clean

My second time staying here. The first time was June 2014. The chalet is in a great location and has amazing views from all the rooms. Only thing I would say is that the downstairs bathroom needs a lock. This was still the same 4 years ago and surprised it still has not been fitted. It could also do with a shower screen or curtain. Apart from that the chalet was perfect for our group of 9 people.

Nine of us, all adults, had a wonderful family reunion .After 2days everyone agreed being in the chalet was like being at home, but surrounded by the beauty of Lauterbrunnen and the Swiss Alps.Train station and other town facilities were only a short walk away. It is hilly though.The house and garden are lovely.Excellent value compared to any hotel stay for family or other group.
