An ideal starting point for excursions to Lake Thun, Bern, Aare and hikes in the Swiss Alps. Beautifully situated, very secluded, lovingly renovated farm.

Despite mostly rainy weather we experienced a relaxing week. Our grandson was enthusiastic about the young cats and wanted to take them all home with him. As I have a slight mobility problem, I would have preferred a floor-level shower. All in all we had a great week. The care provided by the holiday agency (F.) was great.

We (an adult with two children) spent the wonderful winter days in the Egggraben. The combination of the closeness to nature, comfortable, cozy apartment in the rural style of the beginning of the 20th century, excellent friendliness of the hosts meets all the conditions for a perfect vacation. We would definitely come back!

We spent a week in Egggraben and enjoyed it. The farm is idyllically situated on the edge of the forest. The landlords are warm and very accommodating. The apartment is well maintained and very well furnished. There is a beautiful panoramic hiking trail near the Eggraben, which is also suitable for hiking with children. Ps. Directions: Last turnoff from the main road, drive in the direction indicated by the Egggraben sign (turn left when coming from Burgdorf)

XXX and XXX are charming, the house is beautiful, very well equipped, the setting, a farm on top of the mountain, is totally relaxing. The tomatoes we bought from them were delicious. Of all the accommodations I know, I would repeat this one for sure, if I return to Switzerland.

Very friendly lovable family, you feel cared for at first glance. Although very remote but relatively easy to find, GPS is also well signposted, a little local knowledge is an advantage. Absolute oasis of calm, not for digital nerds. The mobile phone reception is on the limit, the WLAN has become a bit faster, but video sequences sometimes stutter. So just switch off all the digital crap and just enjoy and find yourself.

It is not difficult to find peace and relaxation in such a wonderful place. From home you can make beautiful walks. Welcoming family!
