Öja

The house itself is super nice and very well located. However, the main building is very musty and cannot be turned off with ventilation. The bathroom is very small and the makeshift stairs to get there are unfavorable for older people. Beds in the bedroom of the main house are very narrow - intended more for children.

Nice cottage with a beautiful view of the lake. Comfortable beds and a cozy garden with plenty of garden furniture and a nice barbecue. Good that you could borrow the rowing boat, the boy got a perch. Unfortunately the stove took forever to get hot and the water tasted like iron.

The house was very basic as described. Everything worked, only the kiln was inop and could not be used. Unfortunately we had no information about this. The location is super nice in the middle of nature. We slept very well. Overall, however, there is an investment and repair backlog. Despite everything we had a nice time in Öjasjön.

Cozy cottage with lake view. Perfectly ok summer cottage with its flaws. The water in the shower was hot or cold, couldn't really get a good middle ground. The stove took a long time to heat up, but since we were doing day trips and eating out, it didn't matter too much. In very heavy rain the roof leaked on the veranda, but not in normal rain. Decent beds and a newer sofa in the living room than in the pictures. Good with space and nice location with a short drive to Halmstad and Tylösand.
