With two sun-dappled terraces, a communal pool and plenty of cosy living space, this apartment in Javea is the quintessential Costa Blanca getaway. Begin your morning with coffee on the back terrace, just off the kitchen – in fact, why not wake up a little earlier and watch the sunrise? After a hearty breakfast of potato omelettes and Spanish muffins, head down to the shared pool and splash away underneath clear blue skies – there's also a squash court if you're feeling active. As the day slowly draws to a close, make your way back home and spend the twilight hours alfresco, tucking into tapas and sipping cocktails prepared with freshly-squeezed lemon juice on the front-facing patio. Need a break from the salt-tinged air? Gather inside and plan your next day's adventures around the dining table before climbing into the comfy beds for a good night's sleep. Of course, with Javea's rocky seafront, fantastic restaurants and lively atmosphere on your doorstep, you certainly can't go wrong with a little sightseeing. It's just a short walk to Platja de l'Arenal, where sandy shores and clear waters await – you'll also find a boardwalk flanked with fantastic eateries there. For snorkelling, visit the quieter Cala Blanca – also within walking distance – or hop in the car and explore the rest of the hidden coves along the Costa Blanca.
