Nice house, but outdated and overpriced. The photos are better than the real-time pictures. Everything was very messy, and part of the house smelled musty and like a dog. The pool was a disaster, extremely dirty. The pool man wasn't a professional cleaner, but a slacker, and wouldn't come until three days later to fix it. He knew days before we arrived that it wasn't good and had plenty of time to clean it because the house hadn't been rented out before we moved in. The pool hadn't been cleaned in the second week?!

I found the house itself a bit expensive for the price. There was plenty of outdoor space, but no cushions for the loungers, and no other accessories for the beach or pool. There was also a ridiculous amount of chlorine used in the pool! The stairs were dangerously slippery. The spacious kitchen only had a filter coffee machine (a personal complaint). The room with two single beds had no air conditioning. One large bathroom, the other two very cramped, but otherwise fine. Otherwise, a pleasant stay.

Overall, everything is fine. There are few elements such as umbrellas or awnings on the porch or outside terrace. The outside area is very good. The house is spacious.

We had a wonderful 11 day stay at Heringklee. The house met all our expectations – spacious kitchen, comfortable living room and nice bedrooms and bathrooms. One bedroom didn't have an AC which was inconvenient. The pool was great and was cleaned every third day. Lots of places in the yard to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good charcoal grill in the backyard which we used a lot and the roof terrace offered beautiful views over Calpe. The location is very nice if you have a car. 9/10
