Wake up each morning to Costa Blanca sunshine in this contemporary pad. With windows overlooking Javea and the surrounding mountains, the views will be front and centre as soon as you open your eyes. Start the day with breakfast, which is best served alfresco alongside a steaming mug of Café con Leche on one of the upstairs terraces. Later on, after a quick dip in the communal pool, relish in the fresh air on the downstairs balcony – we think it's the perfect spot to enjoy a chilled drink and tapas at twilight. Head inside for a Spanish feast prepared by the chef of the group using ingredients from the seafood market down by the wharf – perhaps paella will be on the cards. Speaking of location, this apartment is halfway between Platja Primer Muntanyar's rocky shore and the livelier Platja de l'Arenal. Both are home to waterfront eateries, but Arenal's soft sand and array of restaurants and bars is sure to be a hit. Whether you fancy stargazing, sunbathing or snorkelling in the hidden coves up down the coast, this central locale has fun in the sun written all over it.
