A subtle colour scheme of creams, coffees and terracotta makes for a cool, calm feel and there's a tactile mix of natural materials like linen, hessian and bamboo. We particularly love the huge, L-shaped sofa and the stylish dining table here, and there's a handy choice of workspaces, with desks in the living room and one of the bedrooms.

Much more than just a base for a whistlestop tour of the city, there's a well kitted-out kitchen for proper home cooking, lots of storage and three big, comfy bedrooms. A glass pocket door even conceals a rare luxury for a city apartment – a laundry room. Just a few steps from the nearest Metro station, it's easy to get around the city from here, and it's less than a ten-minute walk to beautiful Retiro Park.
