Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

With a mesh of Aztec and African design elements, this beautiful home in the heart of Madrid's Azca district is stylish and modern without compromising on comfort. In fact, the cosiness of the cushy couch is increased by the throw and soft lighting. Imagine yourself here with your feet up as you listen to a record. Quick bites can be enjoyed at the little breakfast bar in the kitchen, but there is more than enough space, and equipment, to test some more complex recipes for everyone to try at the dining table in the alcove – the striking lighting here is one of our favourite elements. To break away for a moment of solitude, head out, a cup of coffee in hand, to enjoy the fresh, Spanish air from the compact balcony. And when the sounds of Madrid are too enticing to ignore any longer, you might stroll down the Paseo de la Castellana or head to any of the upscale bars for an afternoon cocktail. After a morning in Plaza Mayor, followed by plenty of photographs of touristy landmarks and a stroll through the 19the century El Retiro Park, you can bring your tired feet back for a long, rejuvenating soak in the tub.

About Chamberí

Chamberi is a residential area in the Northern part of central Madrid. It used to be populated by aristocrats, which gives it its unique look and feel. It’s a cultural hub that defies conventional tourist expectations, with lots of quirky attractions – start at the Sorolla Museum and make your way to the old Chamberí metro station that’s been turned into a transport museum.
