Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Location-wise, this home is a ten out of ten. Beautiful Plaza Mayor is just around the corner, which means that many of Madrid’s most famous attractions are all within walking distance. We also loved the design – pastel-hued chicness and a feminine take on Scandinavian style in one, it’s the epitome of stylish, casual luxury. The kitchen is on the smaller side, but we’re not going to hold that against an otherwise terrific home. Plus, there are so many restaurants nearby that you might not even want to eat at home...

Home truths
We couldn’t find a home manual when we visited
It’s not entirely step-free despite there being a lift in the building – you have to climb a couple of steps to get to the lift
There’s also a step to get into the shower
It sleeps four guests, but two of them would be on a sofa bed in the living room
Both the bathroom and kitchen appeared a little dated – they could do with an update
The water tank is quite small – there might not be enough water for all four guests to shower right after one another

The central location makes exploring on foot a dream – but it can get very busy with tourists and locals alike. Escape the crowds at Parque de El Retiro, a sprawling 19th-century park in the middle of the city. Another must-see is Plaza Mayor, the...
