Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Even though this home is just around the corner from Gran Vía, it's surprisingly quiet. Unlike most homes, the living room isn't the most soulful part of Mantua Carpentana – we awarded it that title because of the characterful kitchen-come-diner that can easily accommodate all the guests at the vintage-style breakfast bar. The golden map print, exposed brickwork and leather brown dining chairs really caught our eye. Plus, there's four cosy yet spacious bedrooms and three swanky bathrooms that make this crowd-pleasing apartment right in the heart of Madrid worthy of a place in our esteemed collection. But most importantly, large families and groups of friends travelling to the city will appreciate its central location and view of the bustling streets below. Step out of the building and onto the lively Plaza de Callao, boasting a dazzling array of shops, bars and restaurants.

About Puerta del Sol

Puerta del Sol is the epicentre of the city and home to Madrid’s most famous meeting point – ‘Oso y El Madroño’, the bear with the strawberry tree. The central square of this neighbourhood is quite literally where all the roads in the Iberian peninsula lead to, which means it’s really hard to get lost if this is where you want to go. This area is popular both day and night, with buskers, natives, and tourists snapping photos of some of Madrid’s most iconic sights.
