There are an array of eateries and bars on your doorstep, or head to Cerro del Tio Pio Park, a sixteen-minute stroll for fabulous views of Madrid. If you fancy an afternoon boating on the lake, El Retiro Park is under a thirty-minute walk away – it’s also home to the Reina Sofía Museum, which exhibits 20th-century art. When you want to explore central Madrid, take a walk to Puente de Vallecas station on the Madrid Metro, seven minutes on foot, where trains will whisk you to the heart of the action in thirty minutes.

Back at this home, we love the bright living room with its Scandinavian style furnishings, calming neutral hues and potted plants. Relax on the comfy sofa and read a book.
