You'll find this apartment on the outskirts of central Madrid, where you can enjoy the peace away from the hustle and bustle but still get there within minutes. Though it isn't the most charming space, it is well-kept and comfortable for a couple or solo wanderer. It can also sleep two more guests on the sofa bed, but it would make it a little less private and a little more cramped. Still, you have a balcony with outdoor seating when you need breathing room. An eight-minute walk will get you to Nueva Numancia, where public transport can help with your exploring needs.
