This apartment in the Catalonian town of Sitges sits less than a hundred metres from the golden sands of Platja de la Ribera, so you can go from front door to lounger in the space of a minute. Despite this seafront location, the interior feels more like a super-sleek city home than a rustic beach hut. It's all about clean lines, sleek surfaces and a minimalist approach to furnishings, which makes for an address that feels impossibly chic. The kitchen might be a little too pared-back for those who are fond of a grand culinary project, but there's enough space and equipment for home cooking should you fancy a night off the local restaurants. There are plenty of such eateries in the surrounding streets, as well as some lively nightlife venues if you're that way inclined. The town's most famous landmark, Església de Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla, is only five minutes' walk away and there's a pair of galleries in the neighbouring building, too.
