This 19th-century castle near Girona is perfect for large gatherings or even creative productions. Surrounded by the woodlands of the Guilleries Natural Park, it offers panoramic mountain views and total seclusion. Inside, it’s a mix of old and new, with dramatic spaces like the music hall with its piano and high ceilings, a multipurpose wine cellar and a circular tower room. Outside, you’ve got a pool, bundles of outdoor space, and your own patch of woodland to wander. You can even pay extra to use the chapel. And although it's tucked away, the town of Sant Hilari Sacalm is just a short drive for restaurants, cafes, markets and plenty of local charm.

*This home does not accept groups of young people aged up to 25 years old.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There’s free parking for up to ten cars on the driveway.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*The swimming pool is only available for use between 1st May and 31st October. It isn't fenced, so if you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
*For those with reduced mobility, there are three ground-floor ensuite bedrooms here. There's also step-free access into the home and bathrooms, with wide clearances to the shower and toilet.
*While not all bedrooms and bathrooms are photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
