Secluded in the beguiling Catalan countryside, this apartment sits within an ancient complex of rose-hued buildings. The atmosphere here out in the hills is monastery-quiet and wandering the estate and surroundings you’ll find a fifteenth-century church, shared swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Forest paths lead through the hills and crumbling castles dot the landscape. For day trips, the buzzing city of Barcelona is an hour’s drive away and you can be at the beaches of Sitges and Costa Dorada in fifty minutes by car. The apartment itself is sun-bright with old arched windows letting the light stream in, along with beautiful views of the green hills. Wooden beams line high ceilings and the living area is an open, breezy spot to unwind and socialise. Terracotta floor tiles keep things cool underfoot throughout, and bedrooms come with stunning country views from big, ancient windows.
