Immersed in the lush green wilderness of rural Barcelona and yet just an hour's drive from the city and even closer to the sea, you can have the best of all worlds at this magnificent farmhouse apartment. Housed in a 450-year-old grand Masía, the owners have expertly reimagined the space into seven exclusive holiday apartments full of Catalan charm. Exposed stonework, wooden beams, and elegant interiors bring all the style. While a dreamy communal pool, bubbly Jacuzzi, and beautifully landscaped terraces and gardens ramp up the luxury. Amble away the days discovering idyllic woodland walks, magnificent waterfalls, and noble castles – starting at Orpí, just a sixteen-minute walk away (your host has some great tips for exploring the neighbourhood). Or simply set yourself up poolside for the day. You can always nip back to the apartment, located on the same level as the pool area, when it's time to beat the heat and grab some lunch. Inside, this apartment feels impressively vast and flooded with natural daylight thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows in both the living space and the stylish bedroom. Fling the terrace doors wide and pad out across the cool terracotta floors onto the private terrace for alfresco meals and drinks. It's a mighty fine place to be with views of the surrounding woodlands and the castle beyond.
