When we visit a city, we like to fully immerse ourselves in the culture. We love seeing the sights, but more than that, we love to live as locals do. To experience authentic Barcelona, this apartment is a great choice. It’s away from the tourist hotspots so you can experience the city as its residents do, but it only takes a few minutes on the metro to be in the thick of things – it’s the best of both worlds. The apartment is a relaxing space with a laid-back vibe. The balcony off the living room brings in heaps of light, and it’s the perfect spot for a glass of wine in the early evening. Whether you stay in the L’Hospitalet de Llobregat neighbourhood for dinner or make your way into the centre, you’ll easily find a bar offering superb tapas – Barcelona is known for its food, after all. The Torrassa metro stop is just six minutes from the apartment, so getting into the city centre is incredibly easy. The journey to the Gothic Quarter takes twenty-nine minutes, and you can be admiring La Sagrada Familia in twenty-two minutes. There are plenty of parks near the apartment, and the Mercat de Collblanc is just six minutes away – head there first for fresh bread, cheese and jamon for a picnic.
