Villa Cala Nova B

A few problems: not very clean when we arrived, WiFi very slow/bad, gas ignition did not work and there was no alternative (matches/lighter) provided, rarely hot water for showering or washing dishes. You are supposed to do the basic cleaning yourself before departure, but there is no vacuum cleaner for example. That said, the house was basically adequate, there was enough space, the location is good and the Interhome team did their best to resolve complaints asap. We give 7/10.

Visit by pool man 3-4 times a week to check this. That was nice. Shutters for the windows in several rooms were worn/could not be operated. Showed signs of having been attempted several times. The cord for the shutters snapped in one room. No hot water in the taps, which you learn to live with. But it would have been nice if you could take a hot bath. There was no service for 12 people

So far everything was good, but before we moved in, a bit of dust sweeping after the winter break would be the order of the day.

We were already prepared, because the Booking comments were not good. Dirty glasses. Bed heads off the hook. Broken furniture. Broken chairs. No complimentary toilet paper rolls for the first day. Without dish drainer. The power went out and no one picked up the emergency phone. And a long etc.

The house is big and very bright ... The great pool and the porch too. Windows and blind in poor condition. We could not connect the wifi. The last day at 9:30 AM we ran out of power.

The house does not quite correspond to the photos, it does not have a garden with a lawn, its furniture is in poor condition and the cleaning is terrible. Above all, in times of pandemic.

The house is very large but its state of conservation is lamentable. Broken furniture, doors and windows that won't close, showers that flood, very poor cleaning (except Ms J.), scarce kitchen utensils and pots and pans to throw away, no heat or air conditioning or fans (we had to claim despite having requested them) ... The pool is great and the TV, satellite receiver and Wi-Fi are very good.

You cannot have a party, an Italian comes to you who cannot speak at 8 o'clock in the afternoon, you have no privacy in the pool since you see the neighbors from the other house, you get inside your house and you can quietly make noise but not outside. For the rest, great price quality but do not cook in the big pot, recommendation! The Graje could not be opened but inside the house you can fit 3 cars perfectly.

Great week. Large porch and pool with good depth. We have really enjoyed it.

The shower has a design flaw: the bathroom is inevitably "flooded" when showering. The terrace is only half tiled. The pool in your own garden is great.

Ideal rental between friends with children

- lack of storage (fridge, cupboards) - showers which flood the bathroom at the slightest use ... - description of the surroundings not conform to reality: villa far from all entertainment and shops ... village L'Ametlla del mar mainly fishermen without entertainment for tourists / young people. Disco closed from Sunday to Thursday ... more recommended villa for a relaxing holiday!
