Location Description L'Escala

Idyllic resort with 10'000 inhabitants, in the north-eastern part of the region, directly by the sea, in a convenient position with beautiful view, 50 km north-east from Girona, 135 km north-east from Barcelona, 40 km from Frontera Francesa. In the resort: supermarket, shops, post office, restaurant, bar, disco, museum. Indoor aquatic centre, fitness centre. Besides: pharmacy, doctor. Sights Pitch and Putt Gualta 16 km, Skydive Empuriabrava 26 km, Parque acuatico Roses 32 km, Cultural events PortalBlau, festival de musica y artes, Fiesta local primera semana Septiembre. Access: motorway AP-7, exit number 5 "L'Escala-Empûries". It is one of the most picturesque towns on the Costa Brava, in the large gulf of Roses. Wide sandy beaches, gently shelving in places and separated by rocks. Boat hire. In the old town there is the parish church of Sant Pere de l'Escala and some pretty 18th and 19th century houses. Tourist tax: this is charged per person/per day, with a maximum of 7 days stay. Children of 16 years and under are exempt.

eine gut gelenene Finca mit Stil, sehr gute Raumaufteilung, interessant für Familien mit Kindern. Dioe gute Lage hat uns überzeugt, man kann problemlos zu Fuß zum Bäcker, Einkaufsladen u. Strand laufen. Gerne empfehlen wir diese Unterkunft weiter. Fam. T D. (DE)

C'est le 2ème fois que nous allons dans cette maison, elle est très bien située. L'entretien et le confort sont parfaits. La piscine est bien grande et agréable.

-Twee kamers hebben ruime boxsprings met met oplegmatrassen. Eenpersoons bedden/matrassen 3e kamer niet gebruikt maar zien er prima uit. -Keuken modern, volledig maar wel te klein om samen te werken. -Zwembad is ruim. -TV heeft veel Duitse en Franse zenders. Relatief weinig Engels en Spaans en geen Nederlands. Gebruiksaanwijzing en overzicht zenders ontbreekt.

Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und teilweise schon stark abgenutzt. Hat aber weitestgehend alles funktioniert. Nur die Matratzen im Bett sind eine Zumutung, drei Lagen übereinander und riechen sehr streng. Tolle Terasse mit schöner Aussicht und ein schöner Pool zum abkühlen.

Cette maison est parfaite, la situation est idéale, l agencement est très pratique et les extérieurs sont très pratiques. La piscine a la taille idéale. On y retournera c est sûr.

Wij waren heel duidelijk ... Rita F.

Wij waren heel duidelijk de eerste gasten van dit jaar. Buitenruimte nog onderkomen wat bij aankomst een heel verloederde indruk gaf (wat op zondag wel werd opgelost), binnen rook het heel muf en was het heel koud. Toen we de tafels, zowel binnen als buiten, proper veegden waren onze doeken zwart, dus er was duidelijk niet gepoetst vóór ons. Glazen en bestek waren niet zuiver. Er zaten geen keukenhanddoeken in het handdoeken pakket dus met de hand afwassen kon niet maar er waren ook geen afwastabletten voor de afwasmachine voorzien waardoor afwassen wel heel moeilijk werd. Voor de dubbelbedden kregen we 2 lakens voor een éénpersoonsbed wat niet handig is om op te maken vermits je die dan niet kan vaststeken en je 's nachts verstrikt raakt in de lakens. Om met een positieve noot te eindigen: Matrassen zijn héél goed. Het terras is zalig om op te aperitieven en buiten te eten. Wel jammer dat we niet konden gebruik maken van het zwembad.
