This airy and sleek apartment welcomes you inside, where avant-garde style meets sea breezes and sandy beaches. The huge living space, which extends out invitingly onto a lovely balcony, merges with the strikingly original and flawless trendy furniture, a tropical black and white artistic wall, and a traditional, red-brick, Catalan vaulted ceiling. The stunning tiled kitchen features an island in the centre, great for a drink of wine and a chit chat. See what you can thrift at El Mercat dels Encants, a flea market with a mirrored canopy. Adding another jewel to Barcelona's already sparkling crown is by being home to some of the greatest beaches – walk down the gorgeous stretch of golden sand that overlooks the Mediterranean – great for getting a tan and dining at a beachfront restaurant. Take a nineteen-minute stroll to Ciutadella Park, grab a blanket, and enjoy the laid-back ambience. After the sun sets, head to Plaça Reial for a sumptuous candlelight dinner before seeing a flamenco dance with a glass of sangria in hand.
