Inspired by Indonesia’s calm, verdant islands, this beautiful apartment in Barcelona's elegant Gràcia neighbourhood is a treat for those looking to soak up the city’s history and culture while enjoying a slice of oasis life. We love the blend of natural textures throughout and the radiant amount of light that pours in through the living room’s glass doors. Slide these open to step out onto the first of two private outdoor spaces, where a hammock and ample outdoor seating invites you to chill out, catch some rays and enjoy alfresco meals. Back inside the living room, you’ll find a handy desk space should you need to catch up on work as well as a record player to get evenings off on the right note. The bedroom meanwhile is just as chic with its ochre and rattan detailing and a private balcony that beckons sunny coffees first thing in the morning. While you could easily spend all day luxuriating in your stylish pad, go out and explore the many sights within easy walking distance – Casa Milà is a ten-minute walk, Park Güell is twenty-four minutes away on foot and La Sagrada Familia is a twenty-two-minute stroll. Factor in the countless indie boutiques, galleries, arthouse cinemas, Catalan bistros and hip wine bars in your neighbourhood, and you’ve got everything you need for a blissful Barcelona break.

About Gràcia
Gracia once was a separate town from Barcelona, and although that’s no longer the case, it still retains its unique feel. This cool neighbourhood is a maze of narrow streets and relaxed squares. Restaurants and cafes spill onto the pavements, buzzing with the hum of conversation. Creatives have made Gracia their home, and with that comes independent galleries, book shops and quirky shops. It seems fitting that this is the...
