Even if we didn't know this home's location, we'd be inclined to say that 'it's so El Born'. Unique art and furniture capture the neighbourhood's character, so you won't notice much difference between the chic interior and the many trendy tapas bars dotted around the nearby streets. La Baule Gallery has some lovely design assets, such as the exposed brick walls, stone columns enhanced with iron beams, and other industrial details that highlight the high-quality furnishings. There aren't many entertainment options – but in this neighbourhood, you won't be bored.
Home truths: * There's only space for five guests at the dining table
* The second bathroom is on the smaller side
* You can sometimes hear noise from upstairs – we found out the hard way that the neighbours are musically inclined
* The glass bricks between the master bathroom and the dining area are transparent – there are obvious privacy concerns
* There are several steps leading to the elevator – those with limited mobility or heavy suitcases beware
