Cosy and practically furnished, this apartment is a great base for couples or solo travellers. While there’s not much space in the living area, especially when the sofa bed’s in use, it’s comfortable enough for lounging between activities in your itinerary. It's worth noting that there are thirteen stairs to climb to reach the en-suite bedroom and while towels are provided, you’ll need to bring your own toiletries. Poble Sec metro station is on your doorstep and if you fancy stretching your legs, the Gothic Quarter is a few blocks away.

*Parking in Barcelona can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible – though we think the best way to see the city is on foot
*At full capacity, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living space
*Though there isn't a dedicated desk here, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace
*We think the kitchen is better suited to lighter bites than large meals
*You’ll collect the keys to the apartment from your host’s office
*As the bedroom is located up a flight of stairs, this home may not be suitable for those with limited mobility
