Around four hours inland from the sun-soaked shores of Barcelona, the Pyrenees town of Baqueira offers a completely different lifestyle. Swapping beaches for slopes, this ski resort is set among the region's rugged peaks and dramatic valleys. And just a few hundred metres away from the ski lifts of Baqueira-Beret itself, this home offers a cosy place to rest your feet after a long day on the snow. Leave all your gear in the private ski storage facility and head up to your cosy apartment. With rich wooden ceilings alongside soft fabrics and a woolly rug, the living space has a ‘hygge’ Scandi feel. On this theme, minimalist furnishings and an understated decor continue as you explore the living space. This allows for the real star of the show to stand out – the striking corner window. Glass panels and dark frames create a spectacular scene for dining, with views out to thick forests and hills beyond. It's even better when the optional private chef is serving your meal.
