Tucked away in the Cantabrian Mountains, this rustic home is perfectly placed for a relaxing stay in the Spanish countryside. What this property lacks in showstopping amenities, it more than makes up for in traditional design features, boasting old wooden beams and a gorgeous stone exterior that makes you feel as though you’ve stepped back in time. Rustle up a tapas feast in the old-school kitchenette or nip upstairs for a quick siesta before heading outside to make the most of the gorgeous weather.
If we were you, we’d spend most our time here in the great outdoors. Catch some rays by the communal swimming pool or jump in the car and head to the Picos de Europa National Park for a relaxing stroll in the fresh air. It’ll likely still be warm when you get home, so why not indulge in a spot of alfresco dining before heading to bed? We don’t know about you, but we can’t think of a better way to end the day.
