Post-breakfast, jump in the car and head to Teide National Park to see the highest volcanic peak in Spain, or if that's not your thing, the town of La Orotava is well worth a visit if you're looking to soak up some local culture.

Whichever way you choose to spend your days, be sure to appreciate the simple pleasures this home affords when you return.
