With a heated swimming pool and private terrace, this villa in Puerto Calero is a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate in the Canarian sun. We'd say the interior is pretty traditional – chances are, it won't be for everyone – but design aside, the single-level layout inside works well for families. Location-wise, it's a short drive to Puerto del Carmen, where waterfront restaurants and lively beaches await. For a getaway on the Lanzarote coast, it’ll do the trick.

This home is on a single level, but there are steps leading from the terrace to the pool
The decor of this home is very traditional and the bathrooms are not quite up to Plum's usual standards – we've let this one into our collection on account of the outdoor spaces and location
Your host can provide a complimentary cot and high chair – this must be requested at the time of booking, and you'll need to bring your own cot linen
Complimentary pool towels are included with your stay
We suggest renting a car to make the most of the location – there's on-street parking available
