Mallorca truly has it all: luscious landscapes, turquoise waters, reliably blue skies and a wealth of wondrous villages to explore. Experience it all from this heavenly home, just a twenty-minute drive to the bustling capital, Palma, and fifteen minutes from the closest beach. Although, with your own saltwater pool, you may not feel the need to leave. The rustic villa overlooks the island's rolling pine-covered hills, with a cluster of olive trees as your only immediate neighbours. Just a short stroll into the centre of Pòrtol and its selection of shops and restaurants, this pad offers the best of both worlds. Spend your mornings lounging by the pool and sipping coffee on the veranda, surrounded by earthy stone walls and green as far as the eye can see, before heading into the village for a traditional Spanish feast. Inside, your hosts have made a strong case for minimal decor – we love the balance of modern furnishings set against the traditional walls and ceilings. The high-spec kitchen will be a highlight for keen cooks, while more hands-off guests can put their feet up in one of the comfortable outdoor seating areas as they wait for their meal. (You are on holiday, after all.)
