If, like us, you love browsing a local market when you're away, you're in luck – this lovely apartment is just a one-minute walk from Plaza Mayor with its frequent craft markets, as well as cafes and boutiques. There are another couple of marketplaces a five-minute stroll too. Pick up some flowers from the stalls on Passeig de la Rambla, or browse Mercat de l’Olivar for seafood, cheese, pastries and other local delicacies. For lovers of art, Es Baluard, with its gorgeous rooftop terrace, is under fifteen minutes away. Or, if you prefer to spend the day on the beach, Can Pere Antoni is twenty minutes on foot. Back at this home, housed in a beautiful 18th-century mansion, open up the French doors to the balcony – they allow light to flood into the open plan living space. A neutral colour scheme, plants, and flowers create a calm and welcoming space. We were surprised when we were here how quiet it was considering its fabulous, central location. This place is perfect for a family, group of friends or business colleagues who want to be in the heart and soul of Palma.
