Waking up to the sound of the waves lapping against the shore is a feeling you'll never tire of at this traditional Spanish villa perched right along the snow-white sands of Port d'Alcúdia Beach. And you'll never bore of those sea views either – seen from every one of the vast outdoor terraces scattered about this home. Pull up a pew at the dining table on the veranda for a lazy breakfast. Find a shady spot beneath the shade of the palms on the grassed lawns. Or factor in some sun-worshipping time on the top floor terrace, offering complete privacy. Wherever you choose to be, those seascapes will be right there. When the sea comes calling, grab your bucket and spades and decamp to the straw parasols on the beach – you can always nip back when it's time to rustle up a picnic or drinks. If you fancy a change of scene (doubtful), take a stroll along the beachfront to Port d'Alcúdia (half an hour walk or seven-minute drive) for a mooch about its shops and gawk at its superyachts. Then grab a table at one of the waterfront restaurants for the freshest seafood imaginable. Just be sure to make it home for dusk – the view of the setting sun is unmissable.
