This 300-year-old stone villa just outside Felanitx offers a rural retreat for those seeking a dose of Mallorcan charm. Renting a car is a must here, and as you drive up the oak-tree-lined driveway, you won’t be disappointed. The pool steals the show outside and you can expect traditional interiors. The decor may not suit those who are more design-led but we think it makes for a truly authentic stay. When it comes to mealtimes, you’ll be spoilt for choice, with multiple alfresco spots to share Mallorcan tapas – why not level up the experience and have your host arrange a chef for you? And though the closest beach is around thirty minutes away, the scenery here will make the drive worth it.

*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*The traditional decor might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts.
*While one of the bathrooms isn’t photographed, we expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home. One of the bathrooms is accessed from the outside.
*There are two ground-floor bedrooms with bathrooms here which may suit those with more limited mobility. Though please note, there are steps in and around the property.
