Original wooden beams and traditional Mallorcan character sit comfortably alongside modern interiors, while a shaded stone terrace with a barbecue makes alfresco evenings effortless. Bicycles are on hand for exploring the coast, and the iconic Calvari Steps – all 365 of them – are close enough to tempt even the most relaxed guests.

Home truths:
* Air conditioning is available in the living room and bedrooms, but it runs on a set schedule – on from 2pm to 4pm and again from 9pm to 8am. If you like sleeping or relaxing in a cool room at other times of day, it's worth bearing in mind.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide two cots and two high chairs at no extra cost. You'll need to request them in advance.
* You're in the heart of Pollença town, so the beach at Puerto Pollença is nearby – but it's not on your doorstep.
* The bedrooms and bathrooms are all on the upper floor, while the kitchen, living area, and garden are on the ground floor – you'll be moving between levels regularly across a typical day. It may not suit guests with reduced mobility.
* Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay.
